Assistant Store Manager – Bradford
We are looking for an Assistant Store Manager in our Bradford shop. The role involves full support to the Store Manager, day‑to‑day store operations, and taking lead in their absence.
Key responsibilities
* Maintain the highest standard of customer service
* Achieve sales and target goals
* Maintain visual merchandising standards
* Maximise sales through physical and digital channels
* Recruit, train and develop volunteer staff
* Support campaign activities and meet expectations
* Co‑operate with the manager on stock generation
Requirements
* Experience in a customer‑facing role
* Supervisory experience
* Commercially driven and able to generate new ideas
* Inclusive approach to developing teams
* Passion for exceptional customer service and highest retail standards
* Results‑driven with a focus on the right result, the right way
* Fully flexible to work 5 days out of 7, including weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis
* Physically able to handle duties involving deliveries and donations
Working conditions
The shop trades seven days a week and requires flexibility from team members to cover weekends and bank holidays. The role can be physically demanding due to the volume of collections, deliveries and donations.
