We are looking for graduates for our Roads team, who have a flexible approach and an appetite to learn in a leading Engineering and Professional Advisory services consultancy. We want you to enjoy working in a collaborative environment where you can apply your skills working for a diverse range of clients and projects.
Roads Infrastructure Design: Truro, Exeter, Bristol, Cardiff, Birmingham, Liverpool, Manchester, Cambridge, Basingstoke, Guildford or London.
What you will do
Roads are a fundamental component of the built environment and WSP’s experience in Roads and Highways helps craft projects for tomorrow’s needs by rethinking how commuters travel across the UK and Ireland. As a Graduate Engineer in the Roads team, you would help deliver National and Regional Infrastructure Frameworks to major projects and local improvements including a wide variety of active travel walking and cycling schemes. You will work with many clients on local and national levels and participate in activities at all stages of infrastructure delivery for public and private clients.
Projects you may contribute to include prestigious schemes such as HS2, Sizewell C, Smart Motorways, Dublin MetroLink, NM20 Cork to Limerick, and A5 Western Transport Corridor.

Our two-year Graduate Development programme is designed to support personal and professional development through core business and professional skills training, career development workshops and mentoring for professional registration, and on-the-job experience.

What you will demonstrate: You’ll have graduated with at least a 2:1 in a master’s or bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject. You will be recommended to visit our Graduate brochure or Graduate website for more information about specific areas and qualification requirements.
