Job Title: Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Associate Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 DOE per annum Location: Remote - must be willing to travel to London regularly and to Liskeard, Cornwall, as required. Role Purpose: The purpose of this role is to provide financial insight into the performance of the business to key stakeholders including the Executive Team, Board of Directors, Investors and Lenders. In addition, it will deliver key activities in relation to the business’ planning and forecasting activities such as its quarterly reforecasting process, annual budgeting process and updating of its long-range forecasting model. Main Responsibilities: The FP&A Associate’s overarching responsibilities are: • Financial Modelling. • Financial Planning and Forecasting. • Financial Analysis. • Reporting and preparing dashboards. • Business Partnering. • Reporting and maintaining integrity of financial KPIs. • Providing strategic support. Key Activities: All activities required to deliver the responsibilities above, this may include but is not limited to: • Managing the company’s long-range forecast model including equity waterfall and debt covenants analysis. • Ownership and updating of annual budget and quarterly reforecasting templates. • Creation/improvement of financial models to support wider finance function • Production of monthly management accounts pack including analytical commentary of variances. • Production of weekly and monthly KPI reporting. • Any commercial analysis required to support the business. Essential Person Specification Knowledge: • Solid knowledge of basic and advanced accounting and financial principles and practices. • Knowledge of cost accounting and reporting. • Knowledge or risk analysis, budgeting and forecasting. • Working knowledge of financial software and MS Office. • Advanced knowledge of excel. Skills/Attributes: • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. • Advanced proficiency in financial modelling and forecasting. • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non- financial stakeholders. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. • Advanced presentation skills • Clear, concise, impactful communication. Experience: • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, or a related role. • Finance business partnering. • Building and updating complex excel models with full profit & loss account, balance sheet, cash flow, complex debt structures, investor returns and returns waterfalls. Qualifications: • Professional finance qualification (e.g., CFA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred. Circumstances: • Ability to commute to London and Wildanet Head Office in Liskeard as required. • Will be periods of non-negotiable deadlines, for example month end. • Capability to handle a wide breadth of topics relating to performance, plus an ability to work under pressure are important aspects of the role.
