We are looking for a qualified Architect or experienced Part II Architectural Assistant to join Simon Mack Architecture in central Henley-on-Thames, as we grow our established practice. We are dedicated to the art of bespoke, sustainable residential design, building happier and healthier homes. We welcome applications from those early in their careers and those with more experience looking for a part-time role.
Your role:
* Project Architect/ trainee project lead
* Design: Developing schemes for extensions, retrofits, and new build homes.
* Technical Delivery: Developing planning and technical packages using ArchiCAD.
* Project Coordination: Liaising with consultants, clients, and contractors to ensure design integrity.
* Collaboration: Contributing to/leading design team meetings and representing the studio on-site.
Professional and personal requirements:
* Qualified ARB registered Architect or Part II qualified with 2 years of experience
* Experience of ArchiCAD beneficial
* Design fluency to translate a concept into a buildable reality
* A passion for the specific challenges and rewards of bespoke residential architecture
* Located within commuting distance of Henley on Thames, Oxfordshire
