What will you be doing?
We're looking for a Website Maintenance Volunteer to support the smooth running and ongoing development of the Endometriosis South Coast website. Our site is one of our main tools for providing accurate, evidence-based information, sharing resources, promoting events, and helping people affected by endometriosis connect with support. Keeping it up to date and functional is essential to our work. What we need help with Updating existing pages (e.g. content edits, adding new resources, event info) Uploading blog posts or news items Checking for broken links or outdated content Ensuring accessibility and mobile responsiveness Making minor design tweaks or improvements Troubleshooting occasional technical issues (or advising us when we need outside help) Key deliverables A user-friendly, accessible website that reflects our current work Regular checks to ensure functionality and up-to-date information Smooth publication of news, events, and updates You'll work with our communications lead or marketing trustee, who will provide content and guidance. You'll have flexibility in how and when you work — we estimate a few hours a month will make a big impact. This role is ideal for someone who Has experience with WordPress Understands basic HTML/CSS or is confident using visual editors Can confidently update and maintain web content Has an eye for user experience and accessibility We're open to shaping the role around your strengths — whether that's regular small updates or helping us plan a refresh or restructure. You'll be a valued part of the team, using your skills to keep the site running smoothly and accessible to the people who need it most.
