The firm is seeking an experienced Accountant to join the team, with a clear progression path towards partnership for the right individual. Role Overview - Accountant Preparing statutory accounts for a portfolio of clients. Preparing corporation tax returns (CT600s) and personal tax returns. Managing a range of compliance work for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. Reviewing work prepared by junior team members and providing support where required. Meeting with clients to discuss accounts, tax matters and business performance. Assisting with and eventually leading client meetings. Supporting audit assignments where required. Contributing to the development and growth of the local office. Role Requirements - Accountant Qualified by Experience, Part Qualified, ACA or ACCA Qualified. Previous experience within an accountancy practice environment. Strong accounts preparation and tax compliance experience. Experience reviewing work and supporting junior staff is advantageous.
