This will be a 2-year programme providing you with valuable exposure and insight into Veolia services and strategic Veolia projects. What you'll be doing; To provide expert level Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental advice and support to the Industrial Services Grangemouth business, operating in complex and high risk working environments including Tier 1 COMAH sites Overseeing the management of Veolia procedure within the business. Development of local level procedures for specific tasks To provide suitable advice to all levels of employee at the depot around legislative or procedural compliance Lead point on QHSE communication with client and workforce. Including presence at internal and external meetings. Hosting depot QHSE meeting Build strong customer relationships primarily with peers within client QHSE teams Core routine works for the role including site audit programmes, collation of data Lead on monthly safety stand down events with the workforce, supported by the wider management team Management of the business Breathing Apparatus hire, servicing and training function, including Face Fit Testing Lead on permit to works for depot and sub contractor management Investigation and trend analysis of accidents, incidents, near misses etc What we're looking for; Degree level qualification in a relevant discipline in (to be achieved by September 2025) NEBOSH General Certificate in Health and Safety Management (Training will be given) Expert knowledge in UK QHSE legislation Practical outlook to problem-solving Good communication and interpersonal skills Confident public speaker and presentation skills Ability to work as part of a team Drivers Licence (essential) Willingness to travel / occasional flexibility on working hours Willingness to join paid on call rota (full training will be given) We reserve the right to close applications earlier than expected if we receive an exceptionally high volume of submissions.
