You will join our Buildings team
As our new Senior Revit Technician, you will be part of our Buildings team, working on a range of exciting local landmarks as well as national and international projects, in a variety of sectors including commercial offices, education, healthcare, heritage, industrial, rail, aviation, defence and residential. We promote home and hybrid working however are looking for candidates that can travel into one of our key locations, which include Birmingham, Bristol, Cambridge, Chester, Leeds, London, Manchester and Southampton.
Working with the leading architects we are recognised for our bold innovative approach, that is underpinned by our Scandinavian design heritage and foundation ownership.
Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:
1. Provide solutions and advice, analyse data or information, and diagnose and solve technical issues within an area of expertise demonstrating initiative and judgement.
2. Produce accurate 3D models, drawings and schedules, coordinating drawing production in line with project requirements and in conjunction with other disciplines.
3. Prepare drafting and associated calculations.
4. Check drawings and models prepared by more junior staff.
5. Manage out-sourced BIM/Revit detailing packages.
6. Review project files for compliance with standards/procedures.
7. Be a recognised expert in the technical standards of a specific area of responsibility, highlighting and prioritising issues as appropriate.
8. Implement best practice procedures.
9. Supervise staff, delegate and allocate work, monitor progress and performance of more junior staff as appropriate.

10. Be proficient in REVIT
11. Possess a BTEC Higher National Certificate, Degree, or equivalent in an appropriate subject.
12. Ideally be a member of, or working towards, accredited membership of a professional institution appropriate to their discipline.
13. Have in-depth technical or scientific skills and knowledge to interpret client/project needs.
14. Have a detailed knowledge of drawing revision and issue protocol, and a detailed knowledge of modelling techniques.
