The shift pattern for this post are 5 days over 7 9-5 including weekend working on a rota basis.
The aseptic unit at RHC exists to provide high quality aseptically prepared injectable medicines across NHSGG&C. Approval to operate the unit under a Manufacturers Special License (MSL) allows us to expand the range of medicine provided to include batches of IV products with extended expiry dates.
The Band 2 support worker role exists to Facilitate the setting up of products for aseptic preparation (both batches and named patient section 10 activity) as well as environmental monitoring and stock control duties.
