PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To provide administrative and commercial support to the UK sales team, in order to enable the expansion of our direct sales’ strategy, by ensuring that the service levels and timelines are adhered, gradually progressing to become an active member of the sales’ team with its own client’s portfolio.
The challenge of this position is to ensure an smooth communication flow between internal stakeholders and clients, so that all market and customers’requirements are clearly transmitted in a timely manner.
Attention to details, fast thinking, independence and assertiveness are crucial to this position. Advanced Excel and Powerpoint are required too.
JOB DUTIES, RELATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* General day to day customer support / interface via telephone, emails, internal and external meetings;
* General orders taking and orders confirmations, by issuing sales requests to the European logistics team (in The Netherlands) for entry into the our central system (Salesforce, iScala & SRP);
* Carefull monitoring of production & shipment schedules versus contractual obligations, so that customers agreements are met, highlighting and communicating any delays or changes;
* Assisting the commercial team with the short-term production planning, identification of unsold sales’ availability and medium/long-term sales forecasting;
* Assisting the commercial team with the controlling of availability of licenses and quotas in relation to the sales plan;
* Assisting with overall new product developments, packaging changes/updates, customer’s presentations and coordinating samples for timely arrival;
* Liasing with the technical personel in Brazil and The Netherlands to ensure timely completion of questionnaires, specifications, certificates and audit report requirements;
* Help chasing customers for overdue deliveries/payments. Monitoring the debtors report;
* Keeping sales records and statistics, prepare powerpoints and updating KPIs;
* Administration and general office duties to support sales colleagues;
* Support customers and sales managers when they are travelling or holidays.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
* Degree university in business related subjects.
* Previous experience in Commercial/Export Area/Logistics, preferably in the Meat and Poultry industry.
* Good customer interaction / Ability to engage with all levels of an organization / Diplomacy / Patience / Resilience / Self-motivation / Flexibility / Capacity of Analysis / Attention to details / Professional / Focused / Commitment / Initiative to learn without full time guidance /
* Proficient English language
