A thriving IAPS day school for boys aged 4-13 located in Beaconsfield. Catering for 400 students and teachers daily, offering breakfast club, morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack, and after school club. There is some daily hospitality at this location. This is a term-time only contract working 39 weeks, operating Monday to Friday. Additional benefits include free on-site parking.
We are looking for a talented Kitchen Assistant to join our team at one of our fabulous locations in Beaconsfield.
You will have previous experience working within a fast-paced kitchen as a Kitchen Assistant.
You will be excited to work with fresh seasonal ingredients & regularly changing bespoke menus. You will be creative and have the opportunity to showcase your skillset.
Key responsibilities:
* Work well in a team, providing food and excellent service
* Produce food for service using fresh ingredients, cooking from scratch, and following company brand standards
* Ensure company food standards are adhered to and wastage is controlled
* Follow all Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen control procedures
* Experience of pot wash duties is an advantage
* Be a great team player
* Assist chefs with food preparation
Skills required:
* A genuine interest in food & excellent customer service
* An all-round team player
* Passion and innovation for great food
* Organized with attention to detail
* Good understanding and use of verbal and written English
* Experience in customer service and/or food preparation environment is preferred
