Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Breakfast Manager to lead our morning service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and hospitality management. This role involves overseeing breakfast operations, ensuring high standards of food safety and customer service, and supervising staff to deliver an exceptional dining experience. The Breakfast Manager will play a vital role in maintaining the organisation's reputation for quality and efficiency during the busy morning hours.
Duties
* Supervise and coordinate all breakfast service activities, ensuring smooth operations for hotel guests in the restaurant
* Oversee food production, ensuring dishes meet quality standards and are prepared efficiently
* Manage restaurant team, providing leadership, training, and support to foster a motivated team environment
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards within the kitchen and service areas
* Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies to ensure continuous availability of ingredients
* Handle guest enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to uphold excellent customer satisfaction
* Collaborate with other departments such as housekeeping and front desk to coordinate guest services
Qualifications
* Proven experience in restaurant, cafe or hotel management, particularly within breakfast or morning service environments
* Supervising experience with a focus on team management and leadership skills
* Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food production
* Experience in hospitality, including serving guests in a fast-paced setting
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
* Previous experience working in a hotel environment or barista experience is advantageous
* Strong communication skills and the ability to lead by example in a team-oriented setting
