Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist – Face to Face (Part‑time)
Location: Mindplace Broadgate, Unit LG12, Lower Ground Unit, 1 Broadgate, Liverpool Street, London, EC2M 2QS
Type: Permanent – Part‑time (minimum 2 days per week*)
Salary: Competitive salary plus excellent Bupa benefits, pro‑rated based on full‑time hours.
Session Details
* Availability Monday to Sunday; Early shift: 08:00‑16:00, Late shift: 14:00‑22:00
* At least one shift per week must be a late shift
* Each day includes 5 appointments
Responsibilities
* Provide high‑quality Cognitive Behavioural Therapy or low‑level brief interventions with excellent clinical outcomes.
* Deliver comprehensive assessments and formulations that drive evidence‑based intervention.
* Ensure thorough assessment determines appropriate pathway of care and support.
* Provide different models of service delivery: face‑to‑face, telephone, or video consultations, depending on client preference.
* Adhere to Bupa’s case management processes and collaborate with Clinical Leads and wider therapy team.
* Adhere to sessional limits based on client's monetary allowance as determined by private medical insurance, while working towards therapeutic recovery goals.
* Provide signposting or onward referrals as required.
* Provide ad‑hoc or one‑off wellbeing support and coaching as required.
* Conduct one‑off assessments and referral recommendations when required.
* Offer group psycho‑education, raising awareness of mental health and wellbeing, promote mental wellbeing guidance via remote presentations, workshop events, and training as required.
* Work autonomously within professional guidelines and Bupa’s service policies and procedures.
* Attend regular clinical supervision, individually and group‑based, in line with BUPA and professional body guidelines.
* Collaborate with operational and clinical teams to identify ways to improve client and employee experiences.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
* Full accreditation with BABCP.
* Post‑Graduate Diploma in CBT (CBT/High Intensity) accredited by BABCP.
* At least 2 years post‑qualification experience providing high intensity CBT interventions with a range of presentations.
Desirable
* Training/accreditation in additional specialised areas such as EMDR.
* Corporate experience and business understanding.
* Excellent leadership and management skills.

* IT skills including proficiency in Microsoft Systems and electronic medical record systems.
* Ability to evaluate, plan and prioritise workload within demanding time scales.
* Proven customer service and client liaison experience.
* Excellent application of clinical knowledge.
