Job Overview
The successful candidate will teach both Art and Design Technology across KS3–KS4, delivering high-quality lessons that develop imagination, practical skill, technical accuracy and confidence. You will support students with GCSE coursework, guide them through design processes, encourage experimentation with materials and explore a wide range of artistic media.
This dual-role offers excellent variety, balancing practical DT projects with expressive, conceptual and skills-based Art learning. You will also contribute to enrichment activities, creative clubs, department displays and whole-school events.

Experience & Qualifications
• Degree in Art, Design Technology or a related creative/technical field
• PGCE with QTS
• Strong practical skills across both artistic and DT-based disciplines
• Ability to guide students through both design processes and expressive artwork
• Confidence supporting GCSE portfolios and written documentation
