Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Ribble Valley Care Home. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being in a safe and nurturing environment.
Responsibilities
* Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
* Support the development and implementation of individual care plans tailored to each resident's needs.
* Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to ensure continuity of care.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation related to resident care and activities.
* Participate in organizing and facilitating recreational activities for residents.
* Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all residents.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a healthcare or care home setting is preferred but not essential.
* Strong communication skills to interact effectively with residents and staff.
* Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
* Basic IT skills for documentation purposes.
* A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
