Unlock Your Passions At Inglis Vets Inglis Vets in Dunfermline are a 9-site practice in Central Scotland with a 24-hour hospital in Dunfermline. We cover out of hours for a couple of local practices so offer good exposure to emergency work. You will have access to onsite parking and Inglis Vets is also a central location, with some sites near train stations and on bus routes but not all. All of our roles involving working at different sites, so a driving license is therefore preferred. Dedicated support will be given to you and the hospital and branches, with you initially settling into the clinic role before starting the Graduate Training. We often use our Cowdenbeath practice where we train RDSVS final year vet students for supervised surgical and consultation training. We are a strong and supportive team of 30 vets and 30 nurses across our various sites, meaning that there is a friendly team of varying levels or experience on hand to help support you. Practice facilities and equipment include in house blood machines, ultrasound, digital x-ray and dental x-ray. The hospital base offers 24-hour care and facilities to hospitalise and work up medical cases. We also offer hydrotherapy, acupuncture and physiotherapy. Enjoy a welcoming environment with structured support and flexibility to suit your lifestyle. You will work 40 hours per week, as well as weekends on rotation (1 in 12 approximately) and duty night shifts on rotation (1 in 12 approximately) with generous stand down time. Support will be given at the hospital, at branches and with Out of Hours work. As a graduate you will also have a dedicated Vet GDP Advisor.
