About the Role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and digitally minded individual to join our Customer Experience Centre as an Assistant Customer Innovation and Digital Officer. This is an exciting development opportunity for apprentices who have successfully completed their Digital Support Technician Level 3 qualification and wish to continue building a career in digital innovation and customer experience.
The role focuses on supporting the Council's digital transformation, ensuring our online content and services are engaging, accurate, and accessible. You will work closely with internal teams to enhance customer journeys, promote digital inclusion, and encourage residents to engage with our digital channels.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain and improve Council website content, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
* Support customers to access services via digital platforms and provide technical assistance when required.
* Promote digital channel shift and identify opportunities for process improvement.
* Monitor and analyse data to enhance service delivery.
* Champion equality, diversity, inclusion, and data protection in all areas of work.
About You:
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* Good understanding of digital tools, CRM systems, and web content management.
* Customer-focused, proactive, and eager to learn.
* Demonstrates awareness of GDPR, confidentiality, and equality, diversity and inclusion.
Essential Criteria:
* Digital Support Technician Level 3 qualification (working towards or equivalent).
* Experience in a customer-facing role.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change.
