Health and Safety Coordinator – CBRE

Responsibilities
* Manage contractor management platform (RiskWise) on site.
* Drive improvements in onsite contractor management process.
* Ensure contractors comply with permits.
* Conduct compliance inspections of brand partners (ODIs).
* Undertake contractor inductions and maintain induction records.
* Deliver pre‑start meetings for third party contractors before works commence.
* Perform permit spot checks and Health & Safety observations to ensure compliance.
* Ensure works comply with CBRE and client standards.
* Close off permits and maintain accurate records.
* Use business processes to meet client contractual and business goals.
* Develop working relationships with colleagues, clients, and visitors.
* Improve customer service through continuous improvement plans.
* Manage contractor contravention process and engage client as appropriate.
* Produce high‑standard data presentations.
* Investigate accidents/incidents/near‑misses involving third‑party contractors and implement prevention measures.

* Skills: Organising and prioritising compliance matters, excellent verbal and written communication, influencing and negotiating, conflict management, attention to detail, self‑motivation, ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
* Knowledge: Company policies and procedures, relevant regulations, formal qualification in Health & Safety Management (e.g., IOSH Managing Safely), CDM 2015 regulations.
