You'll play a vital role in preparing and serving wholesome, homemade meals that not only meet nutritional needs but also bring comfort and enjoyment to our Residents every day.

Responsibilities
* Prepare and serve wholesome, homemade meals that meet nutritional needs and bring comfort to Residents.
* Demonstrate a sound understanding of HACCP and maintain high standards of food safety and kitchen practice.
* Contribute to menu planning with creativity and a focus on nutritious, appetising dishes.
* Work as part of a caring team, reflecting HC-One values in daily interactions with Residents and colleagues.
Qualifications
* Experienced cook with a recognised qualification, holding an S/NVQ2 in Catering & Hospitality or Professional Cookery, and a Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate.
* Good understanding of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP).
* Willingness to learn, adaptability with technology, and a genuine passion for making mealtimes special for Residents.
* Team player with a positive attitude and a caring approach aligned with HC-One values.
* Ability to recognise safeguarding concerns and complete safeguarding training appropriate to the role; know how to seek advice and escalate concerns when needed.
Salary and Location
£13.87 to £14.47 per hour
