Job description
We are seeking a committed and compassionate Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) to join our team for night duty at our nursing home.
Responsibilities
* Safe administration of medication.
* Delivering personal care and clinical support.
* Wound care and monitoring residents conditions.
* Documentation, repositioning & mobility needs.
* Completing nightly rounds and ensuring resident safety.
* Supervision of staff.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
* Must be live on the NMC Register.
* Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
* Experience preferred but not essential, support and training will be provided.
* Good IT skills for care planning and documentation.
Desirable Skills
* Strong leadership and team management Knowledge of safeguarding and DOLS.
* Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions Skilled in end-of-life palliative care.
* Confidence in handling medical emergencies.
* Experience in care planning.
Further Information
Location: Drapersfield House. Night Duty position, Hours of work are from 19:45hrs until 08:15hrs (shift pattern to be discussed at interview) Monday until Sunday as per rota, Set nights available. Please note: We do NOT hold a sponsorship licence. Eligibility to work in the UK.
