Your new role
To provide breakdown support to manufacturing areas, carry out improvements and preventative maintenance on equipment at the Cannock site.
What you'll need to succeed
Key Requirements: Of the elements described below, which are critical / essential to the role:
1. Must hold recognised Maintenance apprenticeship preferably or equivalent experience within Automotive Industry.
2. City & Guilds L3 Electrical Technical Qualification or Equivalent
3. Proven problem solving skills using structured approach.
4. Must be IT Literate. Inc. MS Office & AutoCad.
5. Ability to coach others
Key Tasks / Responsibilities; Regular duties / activities associated with the role:
6. Ensure strict adherence to safe working practices and observe safety rules at all times.
7. Timely response to equipment stoppages.
8. Flexible, team orientated and self-motivated approach to work.
Tacit Knowledge / Experience. Describe any knowledge or understanding that is required for the role that is not easily learnt through a formal training course:
9. Experience with PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) and HMI's (Human Machine Interface) beneficial.
10. Be time served in an Electro Technical role .
11. Proven problem solving skills using structured approach.
12. Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
13. Knowledge of the Mig welding and Spot welding process.
14. Reasonable level of mechanical aptitude including welding, fabrication and mechanical fitting
15. Experience within an automotive maintenance environment and knowledge of maintenance systems desirable
