Senior Residential Care Practitioner Support Worker
Location: Burton on Trent, DE14
Salary: £14.65 to £15.15 per hour, plus £70 per shift for each sleep‑in completed.
Job Description
Bridge2Future Care Group is looking for a dedicated individual to join a specialist learning disability children's residential home in Burton on Trent. The role involves working rotational shifts on a 7‑day week between 7.30 am and 11 pm, with a requirement to sleep‑in the home overnight. Sleep‑in shifts receive a £70 supplement.

Qualifications & Skills
* Diploma Level 3 or 4 in Residential Child Care (Children and Youth Workforce)
* Relevant experience working with children and young people with complex needs
* Full UK driving licence
* Ability to work shifts and sleep‑in the home overnight
Responsibilities
* Ensure young people receive the highest standard of support/care appropriate to their individual needs.
* Provide advice, assistance, and support to young people, safeguarding their welfare at all times.
* Manage risks safely in line with company policies and procedures.
* Attend to young people’s practical, physical, and emotional needs and act as an appropriate role model.
* Work closely with young people to enable them to address difficulties and achieve their potential.
* Complete written reports and documentation.
* Lead a team of support workers as a shift lead.
* Support and participate in the review of care plans, risk assessments, behaviour management plans, healthcare documentation, agreements, and incentives.
Applicants must be 21 years of age or older due to children's homes regulations.
