ADP is hiring a Product Manager, Payroll Experience to join the mid-market HCM product team. As we continue to scale, we’re looking for a Product Manager, Payroll Experience to help us in shaping the future of our mid-market payroll solutions. As part of the team, you’ll be responsible for re-imagining the payroll user experience leveraging advanced technologies to shape our future, elevate client experience, boost productivity and meet the needs of the next generation of users. You will have a strong understanding of payroll solutions, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of managing successful product lifecycles. In this role you will; • Lead the end to end product strategy and delivery for the payroll experience across employee, manager and practitioner personas • Develop a deep understanding of user needs and market dynamics to build intuitive, consumer-grade experiences that resonate with a multi-generational workforce • Create and manage the Payroll Experience product roadmap ensuring clearly defined outcomes that balance customer needs, market trends and business objectives • Champion the enablement of new technologies including AI within the payroll process to anticipate user needs, drive proactive experiences and deliver personalization to reduce complexity and empower users with control and confidence. • Lead cross-functional teams through discovery, planning, prioritisation, and development to deliver impactful features and enhancements • Work closely with product development and user experience teams as well as internal and external users and provide visibility to key stakeholders • Influence without authority, driving decisions across multiple stakeholders and teams • Keep your finger on the pulse of emerging trends in payroll compliance, workplace expectations, and the competitive landscape To thrive in this role, you must take command of your product, lead multiple team's efforts, and be a deep listener who can ask the right clarifying questions to help understand the problem your stakeholders are trying to solve. You've worked with Agile teams and understand product delivery cycles. You have experience explaining the prioritization of a product roadmap, creating that roadmap, and documenting in a way that both external and internal teams will understand. You have held roles where you regularly communicate and defend ideas to a broad audience of stakeholders. WHAT YOU'LL DO: Here's what you can expect on a typical day in the life of a Product Manager, Payroll Experience at ADP: ● Roadmaps. You’ll identify product initiatives based on market competitive analysis and client feedback and establish and manage product roadmap priorities and trade-offs. ● Research & Requirements. You'll own the design. You'll document and prioritise product features. You're always learning and researching new industry trends to make our products better. You'll incorporate what makes sense into your product roadmap based on our clients, the market, ADP's goals, and what impact the future of tech and generations of user will have on your products. ● Relationships. You'll create strong alliances with diverse stakeholders and ensure everyone is in this together and communicates most appropriately. You'll collaborate across multiple teams with developers, other product managers, and UX teams, to name some, to continually drive innovation and make the product the best it can be. ● Measurement. You’ll measure product effectiveness, reporting outcomes, and driving priorities. ● Variety of work. There is no typical day. You could be working with UX teams on client experience journeys to delivering new features, product enhancements, or creating new services. Best part? You'll get to see those ideas come to life. ● Presentations. You'll speak to internal and external stakeholders, including Industry Analysts to communicate and defend ideas while answering critical questions. TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE YOU’LL HAVE: ● A proven track record in product management; and strong understanding and experience in the Payroll domain ● Experience working on mid-market SaaS products with strong adoption and NPS outcomes ● A strong understanding of the unique challenges and needs of mid-sized businesses (50–1000 employees) ● Exceptional communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence without authority ● Deep empathy for users and a passion for creating products that genuinely improve their lives ● Experience working in agile development environments with modern product and analytics tools ● Proven ability to partner cross-functionally and drive alignment across product, design, engineering, and business teams ● Knowledge of current industry trends and competitor offerings; and be curious and adaptable to change A Batchelors degree is great but not required. What's more important is having the skills and experience to do the job.
