Job Description Smile Education are seeking a committed and passionate SEN Teacher to join a supportive secondary setting in South Leicester. This role is ideal for a teacher who can deliver engaging core subject lessons while creating a safe, inclusive environment for students with special educational needs. You will play a key role in planning differentiated lessons, assessing student progress, and ensuring all learners are supported to achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the secondary curriculum Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment Adapt teaching to meet a range of SEN needs and learning levels Monitor, track and assess pupil progress Provide clear, constructive feedback to students Work collaboratively with support staff, SENCOs and parentsRequirements Bachelor’s degree in Education, English or related subject QTS or recognised teaching qualification Strong knowledge of the secondary curriculum Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Passion for supporting students with additional needs Experience working in an SEN setting is desirable but not essentialBenefits Daily pay rate of £140- £200, dependant on experience PAYE or Umbrella payment options Free, ongoing CPD training via the Smile Education portal Referral bonus up to £200 Dedicated local consultant for ongoing supportSafeguarding Smile Education is committed to safeguarding children.
