What We're Looking for in a Room Leader:
* Relevant Qualifications: A recognized Early Years qualification (Level 3 or equivalent) is essential.
* Leadership Skills: You've got experience in a similar role and are ready to step into a leadership position where you'll guide and inspire your team.
* Passion for Early Years Education: You love working with children and are dedicated to fostering their development in a nurturing environment.
* Great Communication: You're a clear, confident communicator who can lead and support your team while building strong relationships with children and parents.
* Organized & Flexible: You can handle a dynamic, ever-changing environment, manage your time effectively, and keep the team focused on what matters.
* Caring & Supportive Nature: You're a kind, patient role model for both children and staff, helping to create a safe and loving space for everyone.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
* Lead & Inspire: Plan and lead fun, educational activities that support the development of each child in your room, ensuring they reach their full potential.
* Manage Your Team: Lead a team of practitioners, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality care and learning for all children.
* Build Strong Relationships: Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and team members to create a collaborative and supportive environment.
* Track Progress: Maintain accurate records of children's development, providing observations and assessments in line with their learning journey.
* Create a Safe & Inviting Space: Ensure your room is clean, safe, and welcoming, and that resources are used effectively and efficiently.
* Role Model Leadership: Lead by example—show your team how it's done and inspire them to perform at their best while maintaining a happy, motivated atmosphere.
