Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse will implement the Nursing Process based on established Standards of Practice, ensure adherence to all patient care policies, and comply with Garnet Health policies, the Nurse Practice Act, and New York State Licensure requirements. The nurse should demonstrate critical thinking, effective organization and prioritization, and implement evidence-based nursing practices.

Salary Range: $48.50-$74.60 hourly. This range reflects market averages and does not include bonuses, incentives, or other compensation. Factors such as location, experience, and credentials may influence actual pay.
Qualifications
* Baccalaureate degree in Nursing preferred; must maintain required certifications.
* Medical-Surgical experience preferred.
* Current NY State RN license.
* ANCC-Med/Surg certification preferred.
* BLS certification required; ACLS within 6 months of hire.
* Cardiac arrhythmia interpretation course within 3 months of hire.
* Hospital crisis prevention training within 3 months of hire and annually.
* New graduates are welcome and will be trained.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, perform bending, twisting, and reaching, and stand or walk most of the shift. Good visual, auditory, and manual dexterity are required.

* Work in a clean, well-lit, ventilated facility with potential exposure to blood, body fluids, chemicals, and hazards.
* Demonstrate physical ability to perform tasks and withstand long periods of standing or walking.
* Ability to work under pressure, organize tasks, and adapt to irregular hours, including evenings or weekends.
