The Croydon Locality Team (CMHT) is a generic team integrated with Croydon Social Care. We are looking for one Band 7 Senior Clinical Practitioner to join the South. The Senior Clinical Practitioner ( RMN, Social worker/AMHP/ OT) will join a thriving team of supportive, committed and skilled practitioners from a diverse professional background who are dedicated to changing the future outcomes for adults who present to secondary mental health services. They will work in partnership with the Team Manager, Consultant and Psychology staff to lead, develop and support the new teams.

Main duties of the job
Croydon is currently undergoing service transformation within its community mental health services. The transformation is about enhancing the quality of our service delivery, improving the experiences of those using our services, maintaining staff morale and to ensure services are meeting the NHS Long Term Plan. It is an exciting time to be part of this transformation in Croydon and you will be directly involved in improving ways of working with investment in resources to enhance services. The new teams will no longer be based on diagnosis and will work with all individuals from a particular locality who have mental health needs that require support from secondary care. The locality Community Mental Health Teams (CMHT) will be a generic team integrated with Croydon Social Care.
