Job Description
We are expanding the Stock team at our Harworth Site! As a Stock Controller, you will play a vital role in maintaining stock integrity within the warehouse. With an eye for detail and excellent investigative skills, you should ideally already have stock control experience and knowledge of WMS. Teamwork, communication, and tenacity are key attributes, while the ability to work proactively on your own initiative is also vital to the success of our department.
Shift Pattern: Any 5 in 7 rotating, (06:00-14:00, 14:00-22:00)
Salary: £26,191.62
Responsibilities
* Liaise with Management and Operational staff to ensure accuracy of received and dispatched loads, and amend and rework accordingly.
* Manage, in conjunction with the Receipt and Despatch Team, the problem pallet area.
* Accurately amend pick faces to maintain stock integrity, ensuring all checks are completed first.
* Hold and Release process.
* Assist in managing the pallet database.
* Fully investigate and report all short shipments.
* Complete daily reports on a daily and weekly basis.
* Assist Stock Management with investigations.
* Additional responsibilities such as handovers, missing pallet investigations, damage control, and samples.
Qualifications
* Previous stock control experience.
* Flexibility to cover all areas of the stock department functionality.
* High attention to detail.
* Ability to manage own time to achieve daily targets efficiently.
* Team player with the ability to work on own initiative.
* In-depth knowledge of on-site systems.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* Strong investigative and problem-solving skills.
* Flexibility in work and shift patterns.
* Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
