The Housekeeping department has got some great and unusual challenges Ruthin Castle is a beautiful retreat; steeped in history and nestled in acres of parkland beside the Clwydian Range in North Wales. The Castle offers four room styles across 54 bedrooms, it is not just about the rooms though, we have a spa, several function rooms and a refurbished restaurant and bar as well
As a housekeeping supervisor, your main role is to assist and support the Head Housekeeper in maintaining the high standards throughout Ruthin Castle.
Your main duties include:
* To check all rooms ensuring they have been cleaned to the high standard set by the Hotel.
* To clean rooms when necessary setting the standards for all Housekeeping staff
* To prepare the room attendants daily duties and allocate cleaning schedules for the day, including daily/weekly and monthly focus areas
* To maintain correct stock levels in housekeeping stores and check that it is stored correctly.
* To assist in training housekeeping staff as required
* To ensure that all appliances, fixtures and fittings are safe and work in accordance with Health & Safety regulations and report any faults to the Head Housekeeper.
