Role: Junior Developer
Location: Pill, Bristol (On-site)
Type: Full-time
We’re looking for a Junior Developer to join our team and play a key role in our digital transformation journey. This is our 3rd in-house development role, so you’ll be instrumental in shaping how we use technology across the business.
You’ll be involved in building and maintaining web applications, writing clean and efficient code, testing and debugging software, and collaborating with stakeholders to bring ideas to life. You’ll also help document technical processes and participate in code reviews.
We're looking for a self-starter who’s eager to learn, grow, and take ownership of their work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of internal and customer-facing web applications
* Write clean, scalable, and efficient code using modern technologies
* Test, debug, and troubleshoot software issues
* Collaborate with other departments to understand requirements and deliver solutions
* Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation
* Support the adoption of new technologies and frameworks as we grow our tech stack
Qualifications
* Proficiency in TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
* Experience with frameworks/libraries such as React or NEXT.JS
* Solid understanding of SQL and working with relational databases
* Familiarity with Git/GitHub or other version control systems
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Experience with e-commerce platforms is a plus
Compensation
£35,000 depending on experience.
