Resourcery Group are working on behalf (and in support) of a large, complex organisation, based in West Cheshire, to recruit a tenured Senior Finance Business Partner capable of managing a small team and working closely with the operational leadership team.

Due to an internal restructure the opportunity to hire a tenured Senor Finance Business Partner has arisen; someone capable of collaborating closely with cross-functional stakeholders, providing strategic financial insights and supporting operational decision-making processes. The aim, to reduce operating costs.
Responsibilities are expansive and as a Senior Finance Business Partner you will be required to take accountability for the following areas:
Key Responsibilities:
* Analyse and interpret performance data weekly, assessing actual results against budget and volume-adjusted forecasts.
* Lead a small team of finance professionals, ensuring accurate financial reporting for the designated cost centre.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support the budgeting process and half-yearly forecasts.
* Play an active role in periodic reviews, scrutinizing costs and promoting initiatives for productivity enhancement.
* Evaluate and challenge commercial proposals, identifying associated risks and opportunities in relation to the budget.
* Perform scenario analysis to evaluate the potential effects of operational and productivity changes on costs and service levels.
* Contribute to the development of short, medium, and long-term cost forecasts, understanding how current trading and operational performance impact budgeted costs.
As such all applicants should be able to meet the following criteria:
* Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is essential.
* Proven experience in a finance business partnering role, preferably within a relevant sector.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
* Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling.
