Challenging Behaviour Support Assistant Treorchy Area – CF42 £13.75 - £16 per hour Full Time Position One of our partnership schools in the Treorchy area is currently looking to bring on a Challenging Behaviour Support Assistant to join its dynamic and efficient Behavioural department. The successful applicant will be supporting students with challenging behaviour in a mainstream school in KS3 and KS4, managing behaviours on a 1:1 and small intervention group basis. Interviews for this position will be held online over Microsoft Teams for the next 2 weeks. What does a Behavioural Support Assistant do? Manage challenging behaviours of students in line with school policy Build a rapport with students & get to know them and why they exhibit such behaviours Work on a 1:1 basis and in small intervention groups with students Go through their pre-set schoolwork, assisting them with their understanding of tasks set Safeguard students & caring for their wellbeing Communicate and work within a team Take direction from line management Support students with their additional learning needs What does a Behavioural Support Assistant require?
