Do you want to make a difference in a specialist college setting while championing teamwork and leadership through sport?
A SEMH/SEN College in Maidstone is seeking a motivated Sports Coach to join their team on a part-time basis (2–3 days per week). This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a role that could lead to something more permanent.
You’ll be delivering a curriculum that embeds teamwork and leadership, with a clear focus on developing young people’s social and physical skills, helping students build confidence, communication, and resilience through structured sport and activity.
This is a great opportunity for a Level 2 Sports Leader or someone with equivalent experience who is passionate about using sport as a tool for positive change. Experience in SEMH or SEN environments is desirable, but not essential – the right attitude and team spirit are what count most.
This role is ideal for someone who:
• Has a strong understanding of coaching and sports leadership
• Is confident working with students with additional needs (SEMH/SEN)
• Believes in the power of sport to build character and community
• Works well within a team and can collaborate effectively with existing staff
• Brings energy, consistency, and compassion to their work
