A well-established company operating within the infrastructure sector is currently seeking an Assembly Operative / Forklift Driver to join their team in Worcester on a temp-to-perm basis. The business has over 20 years of industry experience and offers long-term stability and progression for the right candidate.
This role is assembly-focused, with forklift duties supporting daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assembling products and components in line with specifications and quality standards
* Picking and packing customer orders
* Loading and unloading deliveries using a Counterbalance forklift
* Supporting goods-in and goods-out operations
* Stock control and stock rotation
* Preparing and handling delivery and order paperwork
* Liaising with transport providers and internal teams as required
Requirements:
* Previous experience in assembly or manufacturing environments – essential
* Valid, in-date Counterbalance FLT licence – essential
* Experience working in a warehouse or production setting
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
* Good attention to detail and a hands-on approach
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
