What's involved with this role: Interim Repairs Surveyor x3 - Engineering & Surveying Reference no: K&C 5245875 Pay Rate: £26.56 per hour PAYE Hours per week: 37.50 Monday – Friday, 08:00 - 16:00 This opening assignment is for 3 months City: KENSINGTON, LONDON Basic DBS disclosure required Repairs Surveyor to support the Senior Repairs Surveyor in efficiently and effectively delivering maintenance services. This will include responsive, cyclical and major repairs to both tenanted and void properties. The primary responsibility will be to diagnose maintenance requirements, ensure a good quality and H&S compliant works delivered and to escalate any contract management performance issues. Key Responsibilities Be responsible for carrying out pre and post repairs inspections Ensure contractors and suppliers are performing to specification and contractual terms Specify, authorise, own and manage works to completion. Either directly or indirectly, able to achieve team goals and address performance issues using people management procedures and formal performance management procedures where necessary. Ability to get buy in and commitment to the service’s vision and priorities from key stakeholders and commitment to taking steps to ensure the involvement of all sectors of the community in all aspects of the services work.
