Set amidst the breathtaking landscape of Dumfries and Galloway, the park offers a range of accommodations, including secluded twin lodges, luxury static caravans, as well as pitches for tourers and tents. The park places a high importance on landscaping and the creation of beautiful holiday homes and gardens. As such the park has been awarded the Certificate of Excellence by TripAdvisor, a Finalist in Caravan Site finders 100 Best Sites as well as over 20 years of The David Bellamy awards for conservation.
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales and Marketing Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for the over all unit sales and other income generating activities supported through the execution of a comprehensive marketing strategy that promotes the park, increases brand awareness and drives bookings. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a creative individual with a passion for hospitality and tourism to make a significant impact within a thriving holiday destination.
Key Responsibilities: Marketing
* Develop Marketing Strategy: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement a strategic marketing plan aligned with the park's objectives and target audience.
* Brand Management: Oversee the park's brand identity, ensuring consistency across all marketing materials, communications, and customer touchpoints.
* Design Eye: Ability to work with web & digital designer on sales materials and digital content with the ability to take and edit photos for promotional materials.
* Digital Marketing: Lead digital marketing initiatives, including website management, SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media management, and online advertising campaigns to enhance the park's online presence and drive traffic.
* Content Creation: Develop engaging and relevant content for various marketing channels, including website copy, blog posts, social media updates, email newsletters, and promotional materials.
* Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and evaluate marketing campaigns to promote special offers, events, and seasonal promotions, targeting both new and existing customers.
* Market Research: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and consumer preferences, informing marketing strategies and decision-making.
* Partnerships and Collaborations: Cultivate partnerships with local businesses, tourism organisations, and relevant stakeholders to enhance the park's visibility and attract visitors.
* Customer Relationship Management: Utilise customer data and feedback to optimise marketing efforts, improve customer experience, and foster loyalty and repeat business.
* Budget Management: Manage the marketing budget effectively, allocating resources efficiently to maximise ROI and achieve desired outcomes.
Additional Responsibilities
1. Product: Knowledge to purchase appropriate holiday homes for the target market. Working with the manufacturers on purchases, lead times, stock control, billing & payments, specification & after sales.
2. Pricing: Implement a pricing strategy that will achieve agreed profits, quarterly and annual KPIs.
3. Stock management: Managing the pitch count on site, analysing end of license numbers/year and managing incentives to ensure a balance of pitches available as well as the stock on vans to match is correct.
4. Market Research: Finger on the pulse with local and national holiday park sales strategies, products and pricing including appropriate promotions.
5. Sales strategy: Manage the sales process end to end ensuring smooth running of the Holiday Home Sales process including all legal paperwork, administration and compliance work.
6. Lead generation: Be able to create new leads with a high sales conversion rate.
7. Relationship management: Maintain high standards of customer service, develop and maintain relationships with existing owners, holidaymakers, internal and external customers.
8. Gain feedback: from both owners and holidaymakers on the services and facilities provided on park.
9. Resolving customer queries & concerns: where needed by using a positive approach and putting yourself in the customers’ shoes.

Requirements
* 10+ years proven track record driving sales results.
* Ideally with a good knowledge and experience of selling caravans, lodges and or holiday homes.
* Have competent IT skills with knowledge of Excel, Word, Power Point, Canva, photo editing and e-mail.
* Have competence in social media and digital platform & website management inc. managing SCO.
