We're hiring Associate Data Scientists with a background in Operations Research. You will owner the entire process: from ideation and research through to production deployment.
You'll join either our Pricing or Matching team, working alongside other Data Scientists and engineers on challenging, high-impact problems such as dynamic pricing and bipartite matching.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with engineers, Data Scientists, designers, and product managers to solve ambiguous problems
* Research, prototype, and ship ML and optimisation models into production
* Continuously improve existing algorithms and identify opportunities for new ones
Requirements
* Master's or PhD in Operations Research, Mathematics, Management Science or a closely related field with a focus on optimisation
* Strong foundation in mathematical optimisation or mathematical programming
* Solid knowledge of probability & statistics
* Excellent programming skills in Python and core ML tooling (e.g. SQL, PyTorch, etc.)
Nice to have
* Exposure to dynamic pricing, auction design, or marketplace matching problems
