What Youll Be Doing As a Student Placement within Finance Department, you will support the team with a range of tasks, which may include: Assisting with data analysis and the preparation of reports Supporting the review of financial transactions and processes to identify any issues or areas requiring attention Assisting in the production of Finance reports for use across the force Providing analysis and presentations to deliver clear and meaningful information to stakeholders Providing support across a range of departmental activities, including Finance Business Partnering, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Procurement, and Statutory Financial Reporting, to gain broad experience and understanding of the finance function Contributing to the enhancement of departmental processes, systems, and tools to support the continuous improvement of service delivery Are currently studying for a degree in a relevant subject areas: Accounting Finance & Financial Management Economics Business Analytics Risk Management Audit & Compliance Mathematics / Applied Mathematics Investment & Financial Modelling Management Accounting Your work will contribute directly to the departments objectives and provide valuable real-world experience.
