The Role
* Teaching Design & Technology across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 depending on experience
* Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons across a range of material specialisms
* Supporting practical workshop lessons with a strict focus on health, safety, and machinery protocols
* Assessing pupil progress and providing clear, constructive feedback on design portfolios and practical outcomes
* Contributing to curriculum planning and departmental development
* Working collaboratively within a supportive Design & Technology team
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* A degree in a Design & Technology-related subject
* Experience teaching DT at KS3 and KS4
* Strong subject knowledge, CAD/CAM proficiency, and confident workshop practice
* High expectations for pupil engagement, behaviour, and progress
* A professional, organised, and positive teaching approach
