Green Bean Framing is a creative workshop specialising in high-quality bespoke picture framing. We take pride in combining craftsmanship, precision, and care in every frame we produce. As part of our continued growth, we’re looking for an experienced Framer to join our friendly and collaborative workshop team.
The Role
As a Framer, you'll play a key role in the production process—crafting, assembling, and finishing frames to the highest standard. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with a strong eye for detail and a passion for working with materials. You’ll work alongside a skilled team, under the guidance of the business owner, to ensure every frame meets our clients’ expectations.
Key Responsibilities
* Cut and assemble custom frames to exact measurements
* Use a range of professional framing equipment including Excalibur cutters, Alpha saws, and underpinners
* Handle and package finished products with care to ensure safe delivery
* Receive and check incoming deliveries of materials and supplies, manage stock and packaging on a daily basis
* Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient workspace
* Work collaboratively with the team to meet production deadlines
Skills & Experience Required
* Minimum 1 year of professional framing experience (essential)
* Confident using hand tools and specialist framing machinery
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Hands-on, practical approach to problem solving
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a team environment
* Good physical stamina; the role involves manual handling
What We Offer
* Salary: £25,000 per annum
* Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
* Holiday: 20 days annual leave + bank holidays
