Responsibilities
The Applications Manager supports and manages a range of business and data applications critical to both operational and corporate functions. The successful candidate coordinates a small team, works closely with stakeholders and suppliers, and ensures systems are secure, reliable, smarter and fit for purpose. The role contributes to digital transformation by enhancing system performance, enabling integration, and improving user experience through the adoption and optimisation of new technologies.
Qualifications
* Strong organisational and technical capabilities, confident in managing within a complex DDaT environment.
* Excellent communication skills across technical and non‑technical teams.
* A proactive problem‑solving attitude and ability to drive continuous improvement.
* Experience in team management, system support and integration, and delivering technology‑driven change.
* Welsh language skills are desirable but not essential.
