Who We Are
Diversified is Scotland’s autistic youth-led charity, supporting autistic and neurodivergent young people aged 11 to 21 in West Lothian. We welcome young people with or without a formal diagnosis.
We are the first charity in Scotland exclusively designed and led by neurodivergent young people, giving us a unique insight into the challenges young people face and the support they need.
Our services combine wellbeing and social activities that enable young people to build friendships with like-minded peers, reduce isolation, and enjoy a safe space to be unapologetically themselves. We provide a no-pressure, non-judgemental environment, where young people can take things at their own pace and participate in ways that work for them, ensuring a supportive and inclusive environment where everyone feels valued.

We are looking for a compassionate and organised individual to join our team as a Parent & Carer Wellbeing & Support Worker. This role will be the central point of contact for parents, carers, and partner organisations, helping families feel informed, supported, and connected.

- Deliver neuro-affirming workshops (online and face-to-face) to help parents/carers understand and support their young people’s neurodivergent needs.
- Coordinate a weekly parent/carer support group, led by autistic parents of autistic young people.
- Review and prioritise enquiries and cases, maintain accurate records, and manage waiting lists.
- Support smooth transitions into services for young people.
- Organise and attend meetings with families and staff, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on actions.
