The Nursery at ESMS is recruiting for a Nursery Teacher Assistant and Early Birds Assistant to join on a part-time, temporary basis from August 2025 (subject to pre-employment checks) until 26 June 2026. The hours are Thursday and Friday from 7:30am to 8:30am as an Early Birds Assistant, and Thursday and Friday from 8:30am to 3pm as a Nursery Teacher Assistant, totaling 14 hours per week during term time.
The roles are on the ESMS Support Staff Salary Scales, with a salary range of £7,871 to £8,989 per annum, depending on skills and experience.
The purpose of these roles is to support Class Teachers, Senior Lead Practitioners, and Early Years Practitioners by supporting children individually and in groups, assisting with their learning, and providing pastoral care.
The ideal candidate will be kind, enthusiastic, responsible, experienced with children, possess a recognized childcare qualification, and have strong organizational skills.
