Registered Nurse – Complex Care (Days & Nights)
Locations: Across Sussex – Bognor Regis, Horsham, Burgess Hill, Crawley, Worthing
Pay: £30.80 – £35.20 per hour
Shift Pattern: Day and night shifts available
About the Role
Superior Healthcare is seeking clinically confident Registered Nurses to join our dedicated Complex Care team in Sussex. You will support paediatric clients with a range of complex health needs in their own homes, delivering safe, consistent, and person-centred care.
Although this is a community-based role, it remains very much hands-on bedside nursing, working closely with clients and their families to ensure the highest standards of care.
You will have the opportunity to:
* Provide 1:1 bedside care that allows you to work closely with clients and families
* Support several HCA-led packages, where skills-based matching ensures you are assigned only to clients whose clinical needs suit your experience
* Receive each client’s care plan in advance, so you can prepare and feel confident before entering the home
* Build long-term rapport with clients you may support regularly
* Work with some clients less frequently, depending on their support needs and rota requirements
* Step into nursing-led packages when recruitment needs arise within the organisation, offering opportunities for progression and more consistent work

* Age: Young Adults and Children
* Lives with: Our clients may have other siblings and animals within their home
* Clinical experience within the following is a must:
CPAP/BiPAP
PEG/JEJ feeding
Epilepsy management
Spinal and ABI care
Visual and hearing impairments
Medication administration, oral suctioning, moving & handling, and personal care

Responsibilities
* Provide 1-2-1 support to a child with Complex Care needs.
* Work closely with the Nurse Manager Team to provide quality care to a paediatric client.
* Commit to a regular working pattern and collaborate with Care Coordinators for effective care delivery.
* Build rapport with clients and families, working within the family home to achieve individual goals.
* Potential for growth and development into a supervisor or management role.
Requirements
* NMC - registered Nurse with a Clean and valid pin with at least 1 year post-registration experience
* Experience in delivering care to complex clients, preferably in the community.
* Right to work in the UK.
* UK driving license and access to own vehicle.
* Compassion, confidence, and a gentle caring nature.
