Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – 4-on-4-off Shift Location: Market Harborough Start: ASAP Hours: 4-on-4-off rotation (day and night shifts) Rate: £22.11 per hour We are recruiting a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our engineering team on a 4-on-4-off shift pattern. Key Responsibilities: * Conduct mechanical maintenance, repairs, and fault diagnosis on plant machinery (pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, hydraulics). * Execute planned preventative maintenance (PPM) via CMMS systems (e.g., Holistech) to ensure equipment reliability. * Respond promptly to breakdowns and carry out safe repairs or replacements. * Collaborate with production teams to optimise equipment performance. * Support continuous improvement projects to reduce costs and increase efficiency. * Maintain accurate maintenance and compliance records. * Work independently and as part of a small engineering team.
