Fleet maintenance supervisor

Ensignbus Company Limited is a hugely successful business with over 40 years experience in Bus Sales, Service Work, Sightseeing Tours, Bus Conversions and Restorations.

We are currently looking for a Fleet Maintenance Supervisorto assist in the smooth day to day running of a fast paced and busy workshop. The position is based in Purfleet and the hours are Monday to Friday, 6am 2pm.

Working closely with the Engineering Manager we are looking for someone that is hands on and has the ability to manage and motivate staff ensuring that MOT and service deadlines are met.

The successful applicant will also be able to provide technical expertise to staff to assist in prompt repairs and maintain the Company's fleet to a high standard and in accordance to DVSA regulations.

To apply for this role applicants MUST hold an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a mechanical field and be conversant with monitoring standard of engineering/mechanical work on either PCV/PSV, HGV, vans, trucks, coaches.

1. Knowledge of safe operation of workshop equipment is essential and previous supervisory experience would be desirable.
