JOB TITLE: Mobile Plant Fitter
PAY: £17.00 – £19.00 per hour (DOE)
LOCATION: Northwich
HOURS: Full-Time, Permanent
OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced Mobile Plant Fitter to join our engineering team, supporting customers across the region with high-quality maintenance, repair, and diagnostics on a wide range of construction and plant machinery. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Carry out planned maintenance, servicing, and inspections on plant and construction equipment (excavators, dumpers, rollers, telehandlers, small tools, etc.).
* Diagnose and repair hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical faults.
* Respond to breakdowns and perform on-site repairs across customer locations.
* Complete accurate service reports, timesheets, and job documentation.
* Work safely and in line with company, manufacturer, and HSE standards.
* Provide excellent customer service while representing the company on-site.
REQUIREMENTS
1. Previous experience as a Plant Fitter, Mobile Engineer, Heavy Plant Technician, or similar.
2. Strong mechanical and hydraulic knowledge; electrical experience desirable.
