Role Details:
Compliance & Quality Coordinator
Altrad are currently on the lookout for a Compliance & Quality Coordinator to join the business to provide day-to-day support to the Assurance & Compliance Manager in ensuring that the organisation operates in line with ethical standards and legal and regulatory requirements. On completion of a secondment to the Compliance function, the Quality & Compliance Coordinator will progress into fully formed Quality role.
Key Deliverables:
* Support the delivery of the organisation’s compliance monitoring and assurance programme, including data collection, analysis and reporting.
* Assist in administering the GAN compliance platform with a focus on gifts & hospitality, third-party due diligence and user management.
* Support the delivery of Ethics & Compliance training and awareness initiatives.
* Assist with the implementation of annual Compliance Objectives.
* Assist with the production of monthly / quarterly compliance training and policy completion KPIs.
* Assist with anti-corruption controls implementation and monitoring.
* Assist with ad-hoc projects and improvement initiatives.
* On completion of a secondment to the Compliance function, the Quality & Compliance Coordinator will progress into fully formed Quality role; this will be an ‘entry level’ role which is commensurate with the individuals skill set and business needs.
Key Requirements:
* Degree in a relevant subject or an academic or vocational qualification i.e. ONC/HNC/HND (preferably in a related subject) or equivalent, significant and related professional experience plus accredited training qualifying towards registration (e.g. Practitioner Member) of a recognised professional institution (e.g. CQI) would be preferred
* Previous experience or training in compliance / anti-corruption / internal controls / risk management
* Understanding of compliance frameworks e.g. anti-bribery and corruption, whistleblowing, data protection, conflicts of interest
* Experience or an interest in using AI-powered tools (e.g. Copilot) to enhance productivity, accuracy and process efficiency
* Background in a similar role within a highly regulated industry
* Knowledge and application of a QHSE Integrated Management System
* Knowledge and application of BS EN ISO 9000 series, EN12952, PED 97/23/EC; EN1090;DIN EN ISO 3834-2 (EN 729-2) ASME I, VIII; ANSI B31 and other sector specific Quality Standards (e.g. NQA-1; GQAS; IAEA GS-R-3 for Nuclear Quality)
