Why not join us as a Specialist Technician - Health Simulation? This is a full-time role, working 37 hours per week, based at our Health and Active Living Skills Centre. Interviews for this role will take place on-site, at one of our college campuses in Weston-super-Mare. The Specialist Technician - Health Simulation will work closely with academic staff to support the delivery of clinical skills and simulation-based learning through the effective preparation, operation and maintenance of specialist simulation environments and equipment. The key duties of this role will include, but not be limited to: Taking responsibility for the day-to-day operation of simulation and clinical skills rooms. Preparing simulation environments in advance of teaching sessions, ensuring all equipment, manikins, consumables and resources are set up in line with session requirements and ensuring that these are reset between sessions. Ensuring that all simulation facilities are maintained in a clean, safe, organised and ready-to-use condition at all times. Providing technical support during simulation sessions, including the operation of simulation equipment and associated technologies. Required skills and qualifications Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject area (e.g. Health, Science, Technical). Willingness to undertake further professional development relevant to the role, including undertaking an Apprenticeship where appropriate. Ability to maintain high standards of environment and equipment. Relevant technical or operational experience.
