£40,000 - £55,000 Commission + Benefits
The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Technical Manager (MSP Build Lead) to take ownership of building and scaling a brand-new Managed Service Provider (MSP) offering.
This Technical Manager (MSP Build Lead) role offers a rare opportunity to join at the ground level, starting with a small portfolio of local clients while shaping the strategy, infrastructure, and long-term growth of the MSP function.
Alongside technical delivery, you will play a key role in client engagement, bringing technical credibility to conversations and supporting early-stage business development.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage multiple client IT environments (on-premise, hybrid, and cloud-based)
* Scope, plan, and deliver a wide range of IT infrastructure projects
* Act as the technical lead across multiple client accounts
* Support client meetings, contributing technical expertise during pre-sales discussions
* Lead the development and scaling of the MSP offering
* Define and implement processes, service delivery models, and best practices
Requirements
* Strong technical expertise across on-premise, hybrid, and cloud environments
* Experience managing multiple IT estates, sites, or office environments
* Proven ability to scope and deliver IT projects end-to-end
* Excellent communication skills with a client-facing approach
* Ability to travel as part of a hybrid working model in Eastbourne
Desirable Skills
* Previous experience working within or helping build a Managed Service Provider (MSP)
